The club's equipment for the playing of recorded music at our regular dances is in good working order. No additional equipment was purchased in 2011 and I don't foresee the need to buy any new equipment in the near future. The music database continues to be backed up in multiple locations.

2011 saw the retiring of the Assistant Music Director (Cliff Brown) after 18 plus years of service. I would like to thank Cliff for his dedication to the club with a round of applause. Taking over as Assistant Music Director is Anthony Wong, who has also served the club for many years.

I have continued to work with the bands we hire for our special dances to ensure they offer a wide selection of dances at the required ballroom tempos. The set list has been finalized for our next special dance, the "Rubies are Red" 40th Anniversary dance, with Yelba and her band.

The Two Left Feet website has been expanded to include sample music, a music archive, dance sequences and a strict tempo guide to inform and encourage bandleaders and others seeking knowledge about good ballroom dance music. As our web master, Saverio Gaudiano has put in many hours to help inform and improve the ballroom dancing community in the Houston area.
